meet august mason blake, seventeen year old, seventh year
hufflepuff. he's got incredible book smarts, and is intense to the
point of almost being quite frightening. he's painfully shy, but
usually kind, which i hear is a common trait for the badgers of
hogwarts. if you give him shit, don't expect augie to put up with
it, though. just because he's shy, doesn't mean he's insecure.
augie tends to keep to himself, but that's mostly because he's
a little bit uptight. a.k.a., a completely insane perfectionist.
picture frame just a millimeter crooked? leave it to the augster
to whip out his ruler and make it perfect. he's also scared
of girls. they're all soft and romantic, which he is definitely not.
augie tends to watch things from a distance, and doesn't really
mind. 'experienced' or 'living in the moment' are not exactly the
words that come to mind when thinking of this boy. - - - - - - -
augie needs all types of relations! friends ; maybe just one or
two from class, and such? he would probably gravitate - - - - - -
towards the 'geeks' and 'shy kids' more than the popular crowd,
so don't be flinging your quidditch jock onto him, yeah? enemies ;
not so much. if someone is being annoying or superbly stupid,
augie will let them know, in the nicest way possible, of course.
he could always be hating from afar. if you have a pig headed,
cocky kid who would pick on aug, then he would probably do
little things like talking shit about him or her behind their back,
or little stuff like that, yeah? lovey doves ; he's not a flirt, or
anything even close to that, so don't be forcing stuff on him.
let's try to keep it realistic. i'm thinking the perfect match for
him would be someone sarcastic but sweet, average smarts,
and able to uphold a conversation. the real way to get into
augie's hart is intimidating him. he's pretty quiet, but his ego
is definitely heeuge, so just pop his bubble and there it is. -
