Amanda decided to walk down to the fireplace to sit down and enjoy one book she got send by her grandmother. It was alreaddy late, so she did not want to disturb her fellow room mates while sleeping. She glanced around the noble room which always seemed to have a mysteriouse dark auro: as she assumed nobody was in the room. The Slytherin witch made her way to the confortable velvet couches in front of the fireplace, sitting down lazily in one of them. She decided to set fire in the fireplace because she freezed in her darkgreen silk pijamas whch supported her curves. |

Into a place where thoughts can bloom,into a room where its NINE IN THE AFTERNOON! Ryan has been tossing and turning in his bed,he finally gave up and climed out of bed and walked down to the common room.He was wearing a pair of red pajama pants and a white t-shirt.His feet were bare,so it was pretty cold as his feet meet the cold stairs.As Ryan's feet touched the ground,he looked around and saw that there was someone sitting near the fire.He walked over there,running a hand through his hair and which his hair was already sticking up everywhere. He smiled as he saw that it was Amanda,she was just a fellow Slytherin and a girl in his year and she was a girl that he has acturally not slept with yet.He already did slept with half of the house but he acturally dosn't remeber the last time he slept with someone. "What are you doing up?"Ryan asked with a small smile and sat down on one of the big chairs. |

Amanda's deep green eyes wandered from the bookpages up to the handsome Slytherin heart-throb. She watched him standing there in front of her, looking like he was slighty cold. "What are you doing up?" he asked her in a friendly way. Amanda smiled at him, she wasn't used to such friendly tones from that fellow Slytherin, in fact they had never been really close. "I'm just being a lovely dorm mate to the others and decided to leave them and read my book down here. Quite chilly though" She answered him looking concerned at the fireplace, the dungeons always warmed up very slowly. As she watched the fire, a cold chill ran down her neck and you could see goosebums on her long neck. "And why arent you in your dreamworld yet?"

"Im up because im lonely and can't sleep."Ryan said,with a small laugh.Yes,his friends made fun of him because he usually never slept by himself,he usually had a girl with him.But acturally Ryan was changing his ways for a bit,he jsut wanted to relax for a bit.He has never really talked to Amanda because well he just never got the chance too.A Slytherin reading?Wow you don't hear that every day mostly,you just see Ravenclaws read.Ryan has bnever really touched a book in his life."A book?And what is that?"He asked,jokinly and a small laugh.Ryan leaned farther in his chair and sigh watching as the fire danced infront of his eyes."Like I said im lonely."Ryan said,with a small smirk.He didn't mean to sound cocky,but that was just who he was. |

Amanda smiled back a arrogant smile at him, did he question her personality? How nasty.
In fact she truely was a bit Ravenclawish, clever and smart, but have you ever seen a mean Ravenclaw?
"That surprises me" the Slyhterin girl said taking her attention from the book while putting her hand under her chin regarding the male sitting opposite her in the comfortable armchair. "I think that is the first time i've seen you without a female around you-" she laughed a bit showing her white teeth: "but than again I guess you're not even without a female accompagnion right now."
She moved on while looking at the fire: "Did you have enough of your life as Don Huan or had love life just enough of you?"
That was surely a bit offensive of the brownhaired witch, but she knew her fellow Slytherin won't be bothered by this. No member of the serpent house would be bothered about such a small comment.
The Avery heir was looking forward for his answer, Ryan had authority within Slytherin and so he surely did not often faced criticism-especially from women.

Ryan raised an eyebrow as Amanda closed her book and said that his comment surprised her.He didn't mean to sound nasty,it was just him."Ha,well sometimes a guy needs his space."He said,thoughtfully.It was true,sometimes he jsut wanted to get away from everything.Sometimes he would grab his friends guitar and grab his notebook and go up in the towers and played the guitar and write lyrics.No one knew that about him,it was his secret."Nope,no girl right now.Only you."Ryan said,with a bit of a laugh. He was a bit taken back at her question and thought for a moment."I just have never been good with realationships.I just get so confused with them.So I just sleep around most the time."Ryan said,shrugging. |

She thought about that a bit, his voice changed slightly and sounded sad. She noticed that people often came to tell her their problems: "Well, you're quite like me than. Relationships are a no good. Once you get to like someone, the person will hurt you..." she thought back. "Perhaps I should hurt them first..." She sad kind of looking sad and lonely herself.

Ryan eyes widen slightly when he heard that they have some that one thing in common.His face fell slightly when the memory flashed through his brain,of what happen last year.Everyone knew that he was going out with Alexa for months,he was going to give her a promise ring.But then he walked in on something,that broke him completly.He wanted to take a stroll around the lake and then he saw Alexa making out with some other guy,Ryan had no control on what he did,he punched and punched the guy.All he remebered was that he grabbed Alexa by the shoulders and screaming to her 'Was he worth it?Was he fucking worth it?I hope to god he was!' "I just hate realationships,I dated this girl for awhile and then she cheated on me.So I guess im trying to clear the pain."He said,his expression going blank and not showing any pain in his eyes or on his face.He kept all his emotions to himself. |

Ryan looked very hurt and Amanda was very suprised that he opened up so much. She remembered that girl, after Ryan caught her cheating everyone treated her like crap and so she left Hogwarts. Oh whatever: "Well at least you've expirienced something. I really don't." She answered him in a melancholic way, why did she even tell him? It did not matter anyway, the brownhaired girl in the confortable couch knew that he will never speak about their little talk to anyone else, he was too proud for that. "But don't you think you should try something else? I mean that ' I am being with a different girl every day and then dump them'-method somehow doesn't seem to work."

"You don't want to experience that."Ryan said,his voice almost going quiet."After when you feel that pain,and then you see it you just,you just keep thinking about was im not great to her?Did that basturd have something I didn't have?"He said,his gaze still on the fire,he was stopping right there he didn't want to go any further,he couldn't belive he was talking this freely with Amanda it was just,almost confusing to him. Ryan sigh at her question and said "Yes,I know it dosn't work.But it makes ya feel good.I tried really hard sometimes to try to get to know a girl better but then I usually find out they just want sex,thats the reason I only do one night stands."All of that was true,he sometimes hated how a lot of girls in his house wanted sex thats it.No kisses,no I loves you,in there minds it was just shut up and touch me. |

The Slytherin girl was slightly touched by his words. He really seemed to be a nice guy, just misunderstood. But weren't all Slytherin's like that? Of course we are pricky and mean, but inside we are the most loyal friends you can ever get. She sighted smiling at him a true smile this time, she wanted to confort him somehow, so perhaps a smile would do: "Poor you than. She probably did not desevre you. There are more girls out there, just wait." She laughed than a bit confused: "I think I am going to sleep before we start to know too much about each other in a too short time." She looked back at the book, not really being able to concentrate, she had to think about these things: "Ah can't read anymore." The Slytherin girl now stretched her hands from her body, which showed her great curves: "I should perhaps go too sleep. I really enjoyed talking with you."

Ryan returned Amanda's smile and said "Ya,there are a lot of girsl out there just not one that caught my eye yet."Ok it was telling a bit of a lie,he didn't want to go into complete detail about his personal life.He especially didn't want to tell people that he was liking a Gryffindor.Ya that would ruin his reputation and he needed to keep that up for him."Ya your right,don't want to share my whole soap opera life with a person I just met."Ryan said,with a small laugh.He chuckled slightly when she said that she couldn't read anymore."Well then don't read,reading messes up your whole brain."He said,cracking out another joke."Ya same here,im just going to stay down here for awhile,not ready to go face all my lovely roommates because they thought I was sneaking off to be with some girl."Ryan said,with a slight smirk and ruffled his hair. |

She answered with a slight laugh as response: "I need to research some stuff about magical creatures." That was actually truth, since Amanda knew Edward she know something wasn't alright with him. She did not know what though, he could be a half veela, or vamp...whatever. A mixture. It really bugged her to know, there was nothing the Slytherin could not manage-and to know about secrets was to have power over certain people. "Well just tell them one of your tales, but don't involve me. They wouldn't believe you anyway." That was well true, she had just a couple of times some short love-affaires with older Slyhterin's, since they left she did not really found anyone who caught her attention. "You can tell me about your life some other time and I could make you the theme of a psycho analytic study for some class." She laughed: "That would be weird."
