Hair: Cari’s hair is a mass of thick honey blonde curls. Rarely does she ever take the time to straighten it out so it’s usually down or pulled back into a high ponytail.
Eyes: Her eyes are a shade of blue that changes with her mood. When serious or angry, her eyes will be a dark sapphire but when she is happy they are more of a sky blue.
Skin: Cari’s skin is a creamy white in color making it near impossible not to burn during the summer months.
General Appearance :
Carson, since the day she was born, has a head full of golden blonde curls and deep sapphire eyes that are easier to get lost in than the Forbidden Forest. As she has grown, her features have only become more defined as she lost her baby fat and grew into her looks. Her hair is never straightened, she prefers the curls that fall to her mid-back (she claims the style gives her character). Usually, she is never seen without a smile. Her deep blue eyes always hold a look of intensity that often betray her die or die trying attitude. Both of Cari's ears are pierced twice in the lower lobe.

From the neck down Carson is very slender, often mistaken as being anorexic or bulimic. And while she doesn't have a six pack, her stomach is toned and well defined. More often than not, Cari wears tight shirts just to show off her washboard stomach. Scars of various lengths run down her arms and across her shoulders. And though she may look weak, her muscles are firm but do nothing to hint at the strength she possesses. Not to be called short, Cari stands at 5'7. This growth spurt only happened over the Summer so Cari is still getting used to her new height. Due to this, she is prone to moments of extreme clumsiness.

On the top of her left foot, Cari has a tattoo of a heart. She got this tattoo as a present from her twin brother on their eleventh birthday. Around her neck is a necklace with a dangling letter ‘C’ pendant that was given to her by her parents on the day she was born. She never takes it off because over the years she and Caleb have enchanted both her necklace and his with spells that will allow them to communicate whenever they need to.

{ THE PERSONALITY .

Patronus: Cari’s favorite memory would have to be of the day that her brothers taught her how to ride a broom. It was difficult at first but they pushed her until she got the hang of it. Afterwards they just flew around over the ocean playing tag. Cari’s patronus is a wolf.

Personality : Carson is a nice and caring person to those who know her but to others she can seem distant and cold. Many times she has been called a 'frigid witch' (a not so clever turn on a popular muggle phrase). Carson learned to protect her heart so it doesn't get hurt. The few friends she does have are those she would trust with her life and would gladly lay down her life for. If you hurt one of her friends, prepare to be hurt. She also happens to be VERY boy crazy but never commits to anything. After seeing how distraught her father was after her mother passed on, she developed fear of commitment. This fear wasn’t helped when her father became the proverbial man-whore. How he could just forget his wife, Cari’s mother, and move on just astounded her. Her biggest fear is losing her twin brother. Never one to back down, Carson will stand her ground until the very end even if it's over some trivial matter.

Cari acts like nothing is wrong. She refuses to be pitied because of her family. Around other’s she is happy go lucky and is rarely seen without a smile on her face. Only those who truly know her know that she has her moments. Moments where she just wants to scream at the top of her lungs until she can’t scream no more.

One of the weird things about her is her sense of adventure. Cari thrives on adrenaline rushes. A lot of people call her crazy for doing some of the stuff that she does but it makes her feel alilve and free. Definately a daredevil, Cari will not hesitate to try any extreme sport.

Good Traits: Cari is a very loyal and trusting person. Not one to follow the crowd, she will speak her mind without regards of how it will affect others.

Bad Traits: Circumstances in her past have caused Cari to become very suspicious and paranoid. She has trouble trusting people and this usually hurts more than helps her social relationships. Not to mention the fact that she has a bit of a wandering eye.

Family History:

It was late in the summer of 1986, when Corbin and Christianna met for the very first time. The pureblood lines were slowly dieing out, fewer pureblood children who weren’t related in some way being born with less frequency every day. AS a last effort to remain pure, the Hale family legally arranged a marriage between their son Corbin and the daughter of the Caldwell family, Christianna. Reluctantly, if only to please their parents, they agreed to the marriage. Over time they grew to like each other and that soon turned to love. Their first child was born, a boy named for his father. A few years later, the twins came along. They were the picture perfect happy family. Until Christianna became sick. It was unknown what caused the young witch’s sudden death but the family of five was cut down to four. Corbin Sr. fell into a depression. Luckily, Corbin Jr. was old enough to get a job so that the family’s financial funds would remain stable. He took over everything from paying the bills to looking after Cari and Cale. This continued until the twin were ten. Restless as most children that age tend to be, they snuck into the garage and took the muggle car out for a joyride. Who would have known that by doing so, they would start a chain reaction that would ultimately lead to their brother’s death. Barely alive Cari almost didn’t make it. Cale only had a few bruises. This new death in the family made Corbin break from his depressed stupor to take his place as head of the family once more. Unlike when his wife died, Corbin went out and worked. Things changed for the Hale family. The twins had their father back but it had taken the loss of a brother.


Personal History :

Carson Elizabeth Hale, better known as Cari, and her twin brother was born on August 1 to Corbin and Christianna Hale. She was raised like a little princess, daddy couldn't deny her anything. Everything was great, they were the picture perfect pureblood family. That is, they were. When Cari was seven, her mother contracted a fatal disease and passed away soon after. What was once a perfect family began to disintegrate. The loss of his wife caused Corbin to go slowly insane. Eventually he stopped going to work and was fired from his job at the ministry. The position of head of the house fell to Cari's older brother Corbin Jr. He took care of Cari and Cale, getting a job to insure that their funds would never run low (they still have a significant fortune in the bank).

When Cari and Cale were ten, they went for a joy ride in the family's muggle automobile. Sick with worry, Corbin Jr. started a search for them in his own muggle car. The skies were dark when Cari and Cale decided to go home. A power outage caused the traffic signals to blink as they do when it is icy out. Just as Cari and Cale went through the light, Corbin Jr's car refused to stop thus crashing into the passenger side where Cari sat. The twins woke up weeks later in a muggle hospital. Cari, having received the most injuries, was permanently scarred from the encounter. Soon after their release, they found out that the car that hit them was their older brothers. Corbin Jr. didn't survive. Afterwards their father resumed the head of the house but in a very unbefitting manner. Yes he had a job that paid well but he began to date. Never the same girl. The only consistency was the noises coming from his bedroom every night.

At the age of eleven, the twins received their Hogwarts letters. To celebrate, they went out and got tattoos. Cari got a heart on her left foot. That fall they started Hogwarts. To this day, their father lives but he is a shadow of the man he used to be. Cari swears that she will never get close to another person (other than Caleb) because they only cause pain. Of course few know of her defense mechanisms and none have ever thought to ask her how to evade them. Despite everything, Cari is happy and refuses to let her sad past hold her back from a happy future.

Role Playing Example:

She couldn't believe she had let him talk her into this. Sure the idea of a tattoo had seemed cool at the moment but that was before she knew how exactly a tattoo became so permanent. Her heart was in her throat as she watched Caleb getting his tattoo. His hand held hers tightly, the pressure painful on her fragile fingers. The tribal band around his left arm was taking shape beautifully. Cari had to admit, this man was talented in his profession.

The buzz of the tattoo gun stopped and Cale's hold on her hand loosened. Vaguely, she was aware of the man telling Caleb that he was done and that it was her turn now. Her face became pale as a sheet. Her body moved as if on autopilot to the tattoo chair, Caleb's hand never left hers. 'I must be insane! I'm only eleven!' She thought as she watched the man prepare a new gun. Even from where she was across the room, the needles looked daunting, like they were smirking evilly at her.

Having finished prepping the gun, the man preparred her left foot with the special stencil. Dipping the needles into the ink, Cari had to turn her head away. Sapphire met sapphire as she stared into her brother's eyes. "If you let go I will severly harm you," Cari's voice came out as a growl. All she got as a response was his chuckle. That was when she felt the needles first pierce her skin. Her hand squeezed Caleb's tighter, her mouth clamping closed to keep in the squeak of pain.

Through the entire procedure, Caleb never left her side. He would never know how greatful she was that he was there and that he was her brother. She didn't know what she did to deserve a brother like him.


Why You Think You'd Role Play as This Character Well: Well, I’ve rp-ed Cari on another site for a while now and since I created her, I like to think I have her personality down pat.
