Character's Full Name: alicia, marie, wood
Ageseventeen
Year sixth
House: [Admin will chose if not canon] or former house if adult.
Blood Line: halfblood?
{ THE LOOKS .
what you look like.
what you look like.
Hair: She has dark brown hair, that falls down way past her shoulders, with bangs that grown extrodinarily fast. It's highly sensitive to humidity and tends to frizz out at the ends if she forgets to use a spell. And although she thinks the muggle way of straigtening makes it look prettier, she would rather not spend the hour it takes to finally tame the locks. She normally uses the length to her benefit, styling it in a variety of ways, or using it to shield her face...to the dismay of her mother.
Eyes: Her eyes are the very proof of her nature, always having an optimistic glow to them. It was also said of her by a teammate that they glowed almost crimson with determination at her first game, when they saw her mount the broom and don her beater's bat. They are really a dark brown color, which Alicia has dubbed 'chocolate' for it's varying shade.
Skin: Her skin is currently lightly tanned, mostly from being outside so much. However, it tends to be more on the pale side regaurdless of the time spent in the sun. Alicia's tans usually don't last for too long into the autumn months. Her cheeks are usually somewhat pink, but if you make her blush, it's entirely obvious. Without exaggeration, her face usually turns bright red, or something close to it. Despite being a teenager, she's been fairly lucky when it comes to blemishes and has not yet had too much to fret about.
General Appearance [Two Paragraphs]:
Standing at a height that rivals most of Hogwarts male population, Alicia Wood is at the great height of five feet eight inches, and she hasn't stopped growing yet. On a good day, she might only trip a few times. This sixth year is quite likely the most clumsy thing on planet earth. One obvious thing is her smile, which is quite large, as is her jaw. Braces didn't quite help the protruding chin, they only served to diminish it slightly, and fix the gap, that is.
She doesn't really consider herself to be any prettier than anyone else, only not disfigured by any means. It doesn't really occur to her that she's actually above average on the whole concept of her looks, with her pale complexion (not by any means sickly), and general optimism that lights up her face, an changes the very way she walks, in a good way.
{ THE PERSONALITY .

Patronus: inami black cat
favourite memory + zooming around on a broomstick as a little girl
Mirror of Erised: to become a famous musician
Personality [Atleast two paragraphs]:
Alicia is a bit simple to describe, although a complex person, so to speak;
Firstly, she's in love with the sport of quidditch. As a matter of fact, it's a bit of an obsession for her. In class, when she should really pay attention, due to the fact that her grades aren't quite what they should be, Alicia is daydreaming about her zooming around on a broomstick, or thinking up when she could get in some extra practice for her house's next game. Maybe it's all apart of being a Wood, as both of her parents played for Gryffindor in their school days. Then again...he parents did quite well with school work, something she often struggles with.
You know how parents try to get their kids to learn different words, and begin their commincation by way of speech? Well, Oliver and Katie's only concern was getting their daughter to shut up, as since she started talking , she rarely stopped. Alicia is a hyperactive girl, who has been though to have multiple personality disorder, A.D.H.D. or something of the sort, though her father refuses to take her to a muggle phychologist for a proper diagnosis. She is increasingly random at times, and is seldom sensible, which is why she intends to annoy people quite frequently, and is probably why she has not yet gotten a date.
The one proof that Alicia has some intellect past her scatterbrained and aloof nature, is her ability to create music. She taught herself to play both the piano and guitar, and is quite talented too. It comes across that she wants to be a professional quidditch player, but really she aspires to be a famous musician, performing all around the world.
Lastly, she is strongly opinionated, and will stand up for whatever it is she believes in. She will come to the aid and defense of her friends no matter what, and will stick to any important task, no matter how tedious. Well, with the exception of those long grueling potions essays... Alicia Wood has learned to laugh in the face of danger, and is not scared by hardly anything and if she is, you'll never be able to tell. She is entirely against the whole house rivalry, and she has deemed it a waste of time.
Good Traits [Atleast two sentances]:
Alicia is extremely optimistic and fun-loving to be around, and tends to look on the bright side more often than not. She is also an incredible motivator, just ask her housemates.
Bad Traits [Atleast two sentances]:
She tends to ramble on and on, unable to know when she's annoying people until it's far too late. This is her mental reasoning for why boys don't think of her in 'that way'.
Favorite/Best Subject: Divination. Mainly because she's good at making up wacky predictions
Hated/Worst Subject: Pretty much everything else. But specifically, Transfiguration.

Family Members: Oliver Wood and Katie Wood {Bell}; no siblings
Family History: [About a Paragraph]
Oliver Wood was indeed the quidditch the quidditch fanatic, which is probably explanation enough for his daughter. He was Captain of the Gryffindor team in his fifth to seventh year of schooling. Known for his long lectures, and grueling practice schedules, it was obvious he took the title seriously.
Katie Bell was a Chaser for the Gryffindor Team, and kept that spot since her third year, from when Oliver was Captain, to when Harry Potter was captain. Put under the imperius curse in her seventh year, she was to deliever a cursed necklace to the headmaster, but ended up touching it through a hole in her glove and being sent to St. Mungo's.
They both now play in their respective positions for Puddlemere United.
Personal History [Minimum 2 paragraphs]:
Alicia was born August 15th, the only child of Oliver and Katie Wood. At a young age, she began walking and talking, and surely this was enough to keep the new parents on their toes, watching after the little girl who seemed to possess her magical ability even in diapers.
Floating cookies, flying cats, anything was possible to happen when the girl got bored. She had a vibrant imagination, as some do at that age.
When she was six, she learned to ride her very own broom, and she got to go see her parents play games, of course she was under supervision of her two grandparents. She loved the sport, and knew that she would play it too when she was grown and could fly better.
On the way home from that first game, little Alicia saw a young man in the square, strumming on his guitar, with a hat in front of him, and people couldn't help but smile when they passed. It intrigued her how he could make such pretty sounds just by plucking on some strings.
It was then she decided she would learn how to play a guitar too, and make people smile with her own music.
After learning such talent of music making, Alicia shocked her parents by asking for a sibling or two. Her intention was to start a band. They had looked embarassed for some reason and politely declined her request.
When she got her letter, it wasn't the life changing experience lots of people talk about. Sure, she was excited, but mainly for the quidditch. She was just relieved she hadn't turned out to be a squib...not that there was anything wrong with them.

Role Playing Example [Minimum 2 detailed paragraphs]:
One particular student, was walking around the dungeons. Severus Snape, to be precise. His school cloak hung from his shoulders. It had once been awkwardly large on his lanky frame, but he'd recently grown into it. If he got any taller, he'd be much too tall, and would need to buy a new one. The proud crest of slytherin was almost perfect, looking quite new seeing as he'd taken care of it so well. The serpant looked almost lifelike and eerie in the dim glow of the lanterns hanging from the walls. There was no need for him to be confined to the common room at this hour. He didn't feel like talking to the lot of them anyhow. Besides, he had a lot on his mind to think about, and he didn't need to hear them chatting...especially about how they were going to seek revenge on the filthy mudbloods. He shuddered mentally. Their main target was none other than Lily Evans, the lovely flame haired Gryffindor that had been Severus' childhood friend.
There was something always entracing about the girl. She was one of a kind. She was stunningly beautiful, and intellegent, but she was never stuck up about it. And those green eyes of her had always transfixed him, looking upon him as if she was the only one who could see the real him. But, apparently it wasn't to last. House rivalries had torn them apart, Lily's blood status causing a lot of tension with his housemates. He didn't exactly understand their animosity against those with two muggle parents. He really wasn't sure he ever would. But they stuck up for Snape, against those horrid marauders. She did too once, but she had taken the side of the last thing they shared, a common enemy by the name of James Potter. It was revolting to watch them snog all the time. Lily had blamed him, but it was her fault, she was the deciever...
Oh who was he kidding? Lily didn't do anything! If anything, it was that horrid Potter's fault. He drove Severus to the edge, made him say something he would never mean, it was just in the heat of the moment. He'd never want to hurt his precious flower. And without him there, she had turned to the one they'd stood against. For this reason, he loathed Potter more than he did before...something he didn't think possible. How he'd like to trap him in a dark abandoned classroom...without his friends standing around him like a shield. But he wouldn't do that, for it would hurt Lily too much, and he didn't want to do anything to deserve her hatred anymore. Even if they'd never be friends again. So perhaps that it was out of habit, that he headed toward the classroom. He doubt she would be there, probably repulsed at the mere sight of him. Snape slouched, in defeat, almost fearing entering the room. He didn't wish to deal with the disappointment, he'd dealt with enough of that.
Severus' heart took a leap off a cliff when he finally did pluck up the courage to enter. There she was, sitting in that same stool she always did, when they'd spend late nights studying together. He was delighted, and scared at the same time. They hadn't spoken since the day when he'd called her that dreadful name. The day he'd been regretting for the past year. She'd screamed that she'd never wanted to see his face again, and ran away. He'd seen the tears staining her cheeks, but hadn't followed her to comfort her.
His black shoes made a light tapping noise, as he walked up to her. "Shouldn't you be in bed?" he said calmly, but inwardly he felt sick. Snape wished she'd forgive him right now, but it wouldn't happen. Not even if he'd swallowed a whole cauldron of Felix Felicis. Was that another tear falling down from her lovely emerald eyes? Lily was crying? But why? If only he could reach out and embrace her...if only she knew how much he loved her...

Why You Think You'd Role Play as This Character Well: I've been Alicia before, only she was a Jordan instead of a Wood and he name was Amelia too ... I doubt this will greatly affect her, but we'll see. XD
