------------------------------------------------- Stop making plans, start making sense Don't you believe any word they said
Edward walked through the castle in the late evening of that cold, autumn night. What he was doing out of bed, he didn't know. Did he want to know? Not really, he just wanted to let his feet drag him to an unknown destination. Sighing, he ruffled his already messy hair with his right hand and walked aimlessly along the corridors. Good thing that he wasn't caught yet. That would make some trouble and Ravenclaws weren't allowed to get into trouble. It would be frowned upon and he would be shunned from his house for the rest of his life. Yes, even though everyone was friends with everyone, there were still the house stereotypes. Gryffindors were brave, Hufflepuffs had a little bit of everything in them, Ravenclaws were intelligent and Slytherins were mean and ruthless.
He sighed thinking about this matter. Well, it didn't really bother him that much. What really bothered him was that people still believed in that nonesense. Chuckling to himself, he trotted down the silent halls until there was a light, shining in front of his eyes. "Ugh, point it away!" He almost yelled at the person who was blinding him. Now this was a lovely night. He was cold, almost died of blindness and he was bound to get into trouble with a professor. If it was a professor, he was sure to get detention. If it was a student, they would be encountering a very unhappy Edward Fletcher.

Amanda was on her way back to the Slytherin dungeons with her wand pointed in front of her so she could find the way back in the labyrinth like castle. She tried to be as silent as possible with those three heavy books under her arm, which she "borrowed" from the library: she really prayed that she won't get caught, or else she would have to explain what she is doing with those books about dark magic. "I should have left the 3rd one in the library, it's so heavy." she sighted and made her way round the corner where she heard: "Ugh, point it away!" Amanda rolled her eyes: oh merlin, who the hell was that? She took her wand out of the strangers face, to see the Ravenclaw Edward Fletcher standing in front of her. She sighted in relief: "Puh."

Edward sighed. It was a female threatening his life with the light of her wand. But which girl was it. You see Eddie was never good with girls, or hanging around them. But he did remember their names. He always remembered names. "Amanda?" He asked trying to see through the multicolored dots that were in front of his eyes. That was the difficult part, but he could still tell that this was Amanda. Edward knew most of the female population here at Hogwarts because he was friends with most of them. Sure, he wasn't good with girls, but that didn't stop him from being friends with them. They would often give him advice on his girl problems anyways.
Once he regained his vision he ran a hand through his tousled hair. "So what are you doing out here at night?" He asked and realized that she had books in her hands. "Library at one in the morning?" He asked with a light chuckle. Since when did people bring books back at one o'clock in the morning?

The Slytherin girl eyed the tall guy in front of her up. She remembered his face and his messy brown hair, he was a Ravenclaw in year 5 or 6. The muscels in her short curvy body relaxed a bit and she put both her hands protective around the dark, leather covered books. "So what are you doing out here at night?Library at one o'clock in the morning?" he questioned her with his rough voice. The Slytherin smiled a little bit, thinking of a lie to tell him: "It's so peaceful in the library at this time." It was peaceful for sure, because it was closed and it actually was forbidden to enter. "And what are you doing out here?" she asked in the hope that the Ravenclaw's brain was too tired to work properly to ask further questions about her books.

Edward knew better than to trust a Slytherin and their ways of thinking. Sure, most of them were nice and could care less about being pure bloods and getting everything that they had ever wanted. But he knew from experience that this one liked to lie. So he went along with it. "I see, I see," he stated with his velvety voice looking down at her. She was rather short compared to him and his five-eleve stature.
No one knew that this boy was nocturnal. He was incredibly beautiful, his skin was pale and he loved the dark. No one every guessed what this boy was. No one ever knew. And he wasn't planning on telling anyone of him and his Vampire ways. Although he could smell her blood and hear her pulse, he refrained himself from ever attacking her. That would be bad and someone would be bound to notice if she never returned. "I just like walking around in the dark is all," he stated. This obviously the truth. He looked down at her books again. They were leather bound. Odd, he thought. "Mind if I walk you to the library?" He asked with a bright and dazzling smile.

"I see. I see" replied the handsome male. Amanda was surprised that the Ravenclaw believed her lie. She ought to be careful, that was what her senses told her to do.
Mind if I walk you to the library? he asked her in his deep voice which send her spines down her neck. The Slytherin always fell for the gentleman, and this one was particullary interessting due to the fact that he seemed to know that she wasn't honest with him and still tagged along. What did he want from her? Too bad he wasn't allowed to find out her little secret and what the books were about.
Amanda smiled slyly and walked past him: turning around to tell him: "Thank you very much. But I am a big girl alreaddy and I can handle it myself."

Edward stiffled a chuckled and tryed to cover it up with a cough. He knew that she knew that he was just playing along. But why not? I mean, playing along was always fun with a Slytherin. Or any other person for that matter. The only reason he was trying not to laugh was because she was walking the the wrond direction. He smiled warmly at her, great beauty truely shinning through his human façade. "Well, you do know that the common room is the other way right?" He asked with a light grin playing across his lips.
Oh how he loved to laugh at other people when they were trying to be cool and it failed. He would point it out nicely and then he would walk away. But there was something entrancing about this one girl. Sure he knew her name and everything, but there was something more. Something just didn't feel right about this one.

Amanda was caught: oh dear she was really about to walk the wrong way. After seven long years in Hogwarts- she blushed rapidly. "Well you are a Ravenclaw at all, so you might be right." she exclaimed while laughing, showing her perfec teeth. Her laugh was very warm and people really enjoyed it, it made everyone happy, i guess that was a special side about her. She turned with the heavy books in her arm, making her black skirt swing. The Slytherin was about to say goodbye to her mysterious entertainer, even though they have never talked before, she kind of liked seemed to like him, which surprised her. Amanda Avery did not like people from the start. "I'll keep that one in mind." she told herself.
"Who's there?!"you could here an old, scratchy voice echo in the hallway. "Oh dear!" the Slytherin hissed, looking a bit horrified: thinking of which way to go. She grabbed the Ravenclaw's sleeve and pulled him with her: "SHHH, I know a secret passage."

Edward smiled charmingly. "Of course I'm right," he muttered under his breath. He looked up at her as a nice and sterdy laugh rang out through the halls. He swallowed hard, trying to think about not killing her. About how sweet her blood didn't smell. And how, how much he wanted it. Yes, the real reson that he was out this late at night, alone and hadn't been caught was because of his 'condition', Well, to him it wasn't a condition. It was more of a curse for him, having to leave the castle once every two weeks to replenish his thirsts. He obviously didn't want her to know hos real reasons for being out late. He chuckled lightly at her when she stated that she would keep the common room's location in mind.
Soon, there was a noice of pattering feet and a scratchy voice calling out through the halls. Edward sighed, knowing that it was the caretaker's voice and he would try and come up with fifty reasons on how to punish them for being out so late. Eddie looked down at the young Slytherin girl who was tugging at his sleeve. He rolled his eyes and started to follow her to the passage way that the caretaker probably knew. Stupid map and it finding people no matter where they were in the castle. That map was as much as a gift as it was a curse. Just like Edward's situation at that very moment. him being thirsty made his charm turn on full blast so he could lure his victims. This time he had to try extra hard not to taste her sweet smelling, crimson colored blood. Everything he had.

The short, beautiful witch did, of course, not know that she tagged an incredibly dangerouse creature behind herself. The only thing that mattered to her right now was to get to that unlocked classroom as silent and fast as possible. The only light she got to navigate them was the moonlight outside, it was a very clear beautiful full-moon night that day- very rare in a September. "There it is!" she exclaimed kind of delighted that was able to say which classroom was the unlocked one, i guess you could call it a mysterium of Hogwarts, that the 3rd classroom on the 2nd hallway on the right was never locked. They paused in the middle of the room: "Be quiet now" the witch comanded and drew her mahagony wand to make a circle around them, muttering ancient words. It was a spell the Avery heiress learnt from her grandmother: "Draw a circle around you and whisper the words I told you, who ever you flee from will not think of you as long as you are in that circle."
"We should be fine now." Amanda admitted after finishing her work. It was acutally kind of funny, that a Head Girl fled from the caretaker- but than again, which Head Girl was caught while stealing books about Dark Magic?
She eyed her fellow Ravenclaw now: "Two minutes and we can go our own ways again." It was frightening how beautiful the silent Ravenclaw looked in the moonlight, almost scary. Amanda decided to take her eyes away from him, she did not mean to stare, but somehow she was alerted.

Edward's black and blue robes were being tugged on by the girl. Common when he was with young women, but the way she was tugging at him made him smirk. It wasn't sexual in any way, he was greatly pleased with this. There was a first time for everything I suppose. He was being dragged along the dimly lit hallway to a location unknown to him. But it wouldn't be for long, seeing as she had spotted the third classroom on the second floor. This room was rarely locked. But what he found the most amusing about this night so far, was that Avery was the Head Girl and she was fleeing the caretaker. Surely she was supposed to be turning him in, not saving him so to speak. No matter, he would make her explain. He had his ways.
The door closed behind the two wizards and Edward stood there where the most moonlit could been seen filtering through the dusty windows. Edward's appearance didn't diminish but it grew even more attractive in this eerie light. A circle. An incantation and a young witch telling him that he was to do the same. Well, was he to follow and trust in what she said or was he to just stand there motionless and wait for the caretaker to come and find them. Well, the caretaker knew why he was up, but he sure wouldn't know why Amanda was up. He wouldn't care why either, unlike Edward. Sighing heavily, although he didn't need to, he took his wand out and made a circle around his tall body and recited the words that Amanda had done previously.
What the spell soudned like was very old wizarding words. Words that only dark witches and wizards used almost eighty years ago. This was something that wasn't taught in classes, so she must have learnt it through family. This was very stange to Edward and he wanted to know every detail there was to know. But this was him being nosy. There were better things for him to be doing than questioning this girl's motives. Two minutes. And he would be free. It was very dangerous for him to be alone with her at this moment. He didn't want her to be in danger. He didn't want anyone to be in danger when he was in this state, but right now, he had to hold in everything. Hold even his breath to keep her sweet smelling blood from filling his nose. She deserved to live.

The two minutes passed by very slowly. It was as if the time stood still when Edward stood in the moonlight. It was mysterous, the whole boy in front of Amanda was a mysterium. She will find out for sure...
The silence of the night was disturbed by the caretaker's caugh, he did not even bother to check the classroom. The spell had worked perfectly...
It was safe now to remove the spell and so did the Head Girl with a flick of her mahagony wand, while millions of thoughts were crossing her mind: "Okay, I hope he won't question me about the spell...But who would believe him anyway, his word against mine?...Perhaps the Headmaster would...let's try to cover up...Perhaps he does not even know that this was dark magic..."
The handsome Ravenclaw was incredebly quiet in the same time, he seemed to be sweating. Alecto looked at him smiling a little bit before bending down to the books she layed down on the cold stone floor a few minutes ago-"He seems very nervouse." she thought while picking them up.
Her big green eyes wandered back to the special fellow, standing infront of her-quiet and motionless. His forehead was sparkling down in the moonlight, of course the Head Girl did not know about his state so she assumed that he was frightened by the caretaker:
"You musnt fear anymore, he is gone." she spoke normally again with her smoky voice. He did not seem terrified but perhaps he was. Who knows how good he could hide his emotions.
Amanda stepped closer to him to examine him. "Perhpas he does need to go to the nursery..." an inner voice echoed in her head. "Don't be silly why do you care!" another voice whispered in her head seductivly. He was such an interesting man, Amanda Alecto Avery could hardly believe it herself- She never felt affection towards a man but he was different, somehow. As if he wasn't just man.
"You have an unhealthy colour...you alright?"
