Injured and Sick {Kiki}

Artemis had been in the hospital wing for at least three weeks now. Well honestly she didn't know how long she had been in there for now. She had lost track of the days a long time ago. Artemis had come down with a major fever and the nurse wasn't going to let her out until it was all gone. Artemis sighed in anger and glanced up at the celing. She hated anything that reminded her of a hospital. It brought Artemis the memories back of the night whe her father came home drunk out of his mind one night and ended up shooting his wife and them him.

She hated remembering that night. She could hear the cries and pleas of her mother calling out to her for help but, Artemis was to scared to even move. At the end of it all Artemis began blamming herself. If she wasn't so scared that night she could have saved at leat one of their parents. But, no in the end she had saved none of them. "Im such an idiot" Artemis mumbled softly. She then hugged herself into a tight ball and let out a loud cough as she shivered. She didn't think her fever was getting any better instead just worse.

Kiki had just started to resettle into the school again and was already getting herself into a fight with a ravenclaw. She beat the crap out of the girl though she herself was only acting in self defense. Kiki's lip was split and her arm was broken in three spots. But the crazy thing was is Kiki couldn't feel the pain she just walked with her arm dangling at her side as they walked. Her uniform was on but it was after classes so her shirt was untucked and her sleeves were only rolled up half way up her forearms. Her hair was put into two pig tails black and blonde hair laid nicely. Her deep brown eyes seemed to still burn with a dim fire within her soul. The teachers were carrying the other girl they pushed open the great wooden doors and walked in they called for the nurse to hurry and Kiki was ordered onto a far bed off to the left of the girl. Kiki's arm was bleeding but she took out the news paper and started reading she was okay with waiting her turn.

That was when the doors again opened and through the whole room rang her friends voice screaming and demanding to see Kiki that instant. By the way it was Kiki used the paper to hide behind her friends seemed to spot the target that looked like Kiki and quickly walked over to her. Yelling and screaming at the top of her lungs to stop fighting and just walk away from the stupid fights. Rolling her eyes lightly she waited a few minuets after the yelling died and laughed lightly waving her good hand calling her friend over. " I'm over here you twit

[/b]" Ran her own irish accent. She laughed lightly as her friend pointed at her and looked back at the girl and started toward her.[/blockquote]

Artemis was still huddled in her own tight ball when she heard the yelling and screaming going on. Blinking Artemis slowly sat up on her bed and glanced up at all the people surrounding her bed. "Who the hell is Kiki you've got the wrong person. Artemis spoke in her angered voice. She was in no mood for any of this. She just wanted to get out of here and back to her dorm. But, the nurse wanted other wise so Artemis had to go along with it. Sighing softly she sook her head and laid back down on her bed.

Closing her eyes tightly she huddled into a tighter ball. She was very weak and sick. Her skin was paler and much colder than it normally was. Though she was still her mean angry self. After being away from her twin sister for so long Artemis changed from that sweet kind girl to a furious angry one. She then gently held the small golden heart shapped locket that dangled from her neck. Kiki and her each had one from their parents. The only difference was that her's was engraved with a big capital A well Kikil's was engraved with a big capital K.

Artemis had missed her twin sister dearly. After they were torn apart Artemis truly didn't see a reason in living life. So she went down a dark path. One that people feared her whenever she walked down the halls of Hogwarts. "Kiki" Artemis thought silently to herself. Her eyes then quickly fluttered open as she sat up on the bed again. "It can't be" Artemis thought silently to herself again.

kiki sat and laughed as her friends all flicked off the girl in the bed that snapped at all of them. Kiki's brown eyes lit up as all of her closer friends came and surrounded her bed and all gave her a hard time for again getting into a fight. They took her news paper and she yelled " Come on guys I need that there is a certin thing in there that I need to read. Gosh you guys suck!

[/b]" Her golden locket was outside of her cloths and she laughed lightly. She snached it back and kicked all of them in the butts. She sighed and moved her neck to the right cracking it loud. She hugged her best friend and said " If I didn't fight you'd look so black and blue you wouldn't know what the hell to do with yourself.[/b]" She closed her eyes lightly as the nurse told her to lay down lightly. She sat on her cot and watched as she waved her wand and some of her bones popped back into place.

Kiki sniffled and wrapped her are in a nice white long cloth bandage and she put the arm in a sling the whole time she rolled her eyes and sat on the cot waiting for the girl. Kiki rubbed her shoulder and asked " So ah how bad is the ravenclaw girl? I didn't do anything she was trying to hurt my friend over there.[/b]" Kiki stood up and looked over at the girl in her little ball and didn't care. She walked with the nurse past the girl and waited outside the potions room she would have to take a potion to get her arm to it's normal self again. Kiki looked around and sifted her weight from her heels to her toes. She looked over to the girl again. She tried to see her face but kept talking her friend whispered that the girl looked like a scarey twin. Kiki's heart jerked lightly and then shook her head it couldn't be. She just waited quietly.[/blockquote]

Artemis still sat up on her bed even if the nurse told her that she needed to lay down. Artemis didn't listen to her. Instead she watched the girl closely. "It can't be her it just can't be" Artemis thought softly to herself. She then got off the bed slowly and frowned as she glanced over at the girl's friends. Slowly Artemis made her way over to where the girl was. Once she was there Artemis leaned against the cold wall beside her carefully.

She then held her golden heart shapped locket in one hand and still watched the girl. Just seeing her face made Artemis gulp. She couldn't believe her own eyes. "No my eyes must be playing tricks on me since I haven't been getting much sleep" Artemis thought silently to herself. She then rubbed her eyes thinking that once she brought her hand down the girl would be gone. But, when she slowly brought her hand down from her eyes Artemis blinked.

That wasn't the case and the girl was still there. "K...K....K....K....K....Kiki" Artemis got out stumbling on her twin sister's name. She had never expected to see her twin sister ever again. Of course Artemis never stopped looking for her hoping to find her one day. But, she was scared what her twin sister would think of her now. Since she wasn't all that nice anymore. She was mean and most people around the castle feared her inculding her twin sister's friends.

Kiki laughed with them and played with her lip rings looking over at the nurse and took the gross potion. She made the gross face that she always did and laughed with her friends. She looked over at her friends pointing at the girl that was watching her. Making the connection they said that the girl was all obssessed with her now. She laughed but didn't care she nodded to the girl and was looking at her friend laughing lightly that was until she let her brown eyes roam over to her. Her brown orbs grew in size and her heart stopped that she Artemis. She shook her head and looked again but then all of asudden her lips moved and finally her voice came out. " Y....you....

[/b]" Kiki deep brown eyes rolled back in her skull and her legs gave out of under her and her friends all screamed as she fell backwards.

She hit her head but was asleep she couldn't bring herself. Kiki's friends looked over at her twin sister and asked " What did you do someone help she's DEAD![/b]" Her mind though she was asleep her thoughts were racing she was scared. The thought her twin sister was less then five feet away from her. She closed her eyes tighter and then felt her friends put her up onto a bed. She was out for a full two hours when her deep orbs opened up lightly she looked up at the ceiling and her head pounded. She raised her good hand and groaned holding her head " What happened I thought...God what happened ....I thought what?[/b]" [/blockquote]

Artemis stayed silemt as her twin sister's friends began yelling and screaming. Rolling her eyes she sighed softly and watched Kiki's friends place her on a bed. It had been at least two whole hours until Artemis looked up at the sound of her twin sister's voice. Slowly Artemis walked over to her and gently took a hold of her hand gently in her own. She then glared over at her friends grinning as they backed away giving the two of them the space they needed. She then looked back down to her twin sister.

"It's going to be alright you just fainted I suppose but, the nurse said you should stay the night just so she can make sure your alright" Artemis told her twin sister softly. She hadn't sounded this concerned in ages. She was usually angry all the time. But, it seemed like her sister brought out the little sister that she had once known out of her. She then frowned slightly as she looked down at her sister. "Relax Kiki it's okay your not dreaming I'm really here" she told her twin sister softly.

Kiki shook her head it just didn't make sense. She didn't pull her cold slender hand from her sister's either. Her older twin sister was there alive in the flesh and not dead. She felt her friends giggle and she held up one of her fingers signaling to them that this was serious. Artemis was there she sat there and was there Kiki hung her head and one of her friends asked "Kristin....Kristin please come one we gotta go." Kiki's eyes were glassy as she shook her head and she looked to them " Leave now! this has nothing to do with you or anyone else but me and her.

[/b]" Kiki looked at her hand entertwined with her fingers. Kiki bit her lip lightly she shivered lightly and looked over her she wasn't sure all this time she wanted her sister but she also was told that her sister was dead killed herself.

Kiki stood up though she was still dizzy. " Art...Artem...Artemis.....they told me....they said....[/b]" She shook her head and said " They told me you died four years ago. They said you killed yourself like dad and everyone else.[/b]" She pulled her sister into a tight hug it was the most emotion that she had shown in years. She wanted to have her sister again. But she quickly moved away and dropped her good arm and spoke softly " Sorry...[/b]" [/blockquote]

Artemis was shocked by the information she had recived from her sister. "K...K...K...Kilked myself" Artems questioned softly as she stumbled on the words and quickly shook her head. "I could never kill myself Kiks run away from there yes but, never kill myself" she told her twin sister softly. Artemis held her in the hug as Kiki hugged her. She hugged her back. Artemis missed being this close to her sister. Artemis sighed softly when she felt her twin sister pull away.

Shaking her head she pulled her sister back into a hug holding her close to her body. "Don't be" Artemis spoke to her twin sister. "After you got adopted I ran away and lived on the streets for a while until a couple took me in" Artemis admitted to her twin sister softly. She then moved away from her sister slowly and hung her head in shame. She didn't want her sister to know that she had sunk that low. Low enough to live on the streets since she missed her sister so very much.

Kiki looked at her sister and hugged her again she held her sister tight and shivered. The such familiar feeling washed over her and it killed her. She rested her head in her sister's neck and she smelled so different form when they were so close. She looked so different but it was cute on her. Kiki closed her eyes tight for a moment and listened to her sister. She was sad at that fact that her sister was reducced to living on the streets. She shook her head her sister was so different and was now the peson no one wanted to be around. " Artemis I wrote you and even called they told me you were dead. I couldn't believe it. Living on the streets? Artemis that's not good....What about the boy's ? I'm sorry they made me leave they said that I had no choice. I tried to run away....but um....it well it didn't end well. Artemis is the family good to you if not i swear to freaking god that I will cut them to high heavens.

Kiki had changed beyond what she used to be but she was the only person to know why. She hadn't left being close to her sister but she didn't have the same smell and it wasn't right but then again she didn't either it was different the fact that her sister was there and they were toghter was nice but at the same time she wasn't sure how to react. " How long have you been here Artemis why haven't I seen you? I know I'm not one to notice things but I've been here since I was eleven and in Slytherin are you in a different house or what.?[/b]"[/blockquote]
