it took stumbling, it took falling, it took a lot of getting lost to find, i was already home. ________________________ Classes kept her busy from life that seemed to be calling, and Havannah hated it more then anything. So she was thanking merlin that today she had some free time to herself. Of course she'd explored the castle numerous times. Though the Ravenclaw had missed the outdoors, given that the start of classes kept her locked indoors, in the common room, working on assignments. Today however, she decided to try something different. She decided to take some books and go to the lawns, claiming that some fresh air would do her good.
Her steps were expectant and fast, a smile on her face brighter then the sun that was shinning over head. The fresh air filled her lungs, her books held carelessly, until she found herself on the lawns. The grass was growing taller with each step she took but Hav loved the sense of freedom it gave her. The sense that whatever step she took she'd be taking a risk. She didn't feel scared or nervous, these kinds of things made her happy, thrilled even. The girl was doing fine, and the grass came up to about mid-thigh. She was on a role, going farther out- until she found herself falling flat to the ground.
It was actually a slow motion kind of fall, the kind of fall, if graceful enough, she could have stopped. However she didn't, nor was she even close to being graceful, and she fell face first to the ground. She looked over the thing this, or the cause of the trip. Then a bit of laughter filled the air, it wasn't a thing, it was her best friend. "Jeez Cari, are you trying to kill me, or what?" She asked a bit more of a giggle coming from her lips as she looked to the Huffelpuff girl. She sat herself up and coiled her legs to her.
She looked to her knees ans shook her head. Well that's surly going to be bruised by tomorrow, her thoughts seemed to laugh at her. She smirked over at her friend, before asking a bit of fear that maybe she hurt the girl, "Are you okay?" It was a sincere question, and besides Carson knew that Havannah had never been to good on her two feet.
