The hallway was empty and she couldn't hear anybody crying for her help. Yet before she left the Hospital Wing she took another look in there. No one was in there and a Hufflepuff girl who wanted to become a nurse was reading a romance novel on one of the beds. Vikki was leaving her in charge while she left for a while. And Victoire was allowed to do that. The girl had come to Victoire at the beginning of the year asking her to help her pass the exams so she can also become a nurse. So Victoire has been tutoring her and showing her basic caring tools. She had to admit she was a good student always listening and willing to learns.

When she finally tore herself away from the Hospital Wing she quickly made her way through all the hallways until both her feet were planted on grass. When she felt the chilly air on her face she knew she was safe and there would be no student coming in with some horrible disease. The rest of the way down the lawn was soft and going back to her normal graceful self. Who was she so excited to see? Well her boyfriend Teddy of course. She wasn't able to see him much during the beginning of the year with all the students faking sick. it even kept her away from dinner some nights. Yet now with the Hospital quiet she was finally finding time to go and see him.

Victoire's clothing was fairly simple. A red tank top with a jean jacket over it and then a pair of fitted jeans. Yet she didn't know it was going to be this cold and the jean jacket wasn't doing too much for her. The Hospital was always warmer for the sick patients. Her hair was down like it usually was. Except now with being in the Hospital she most of the time wore it up. Yet since she was going to be around Teddy and not sick students she took it down.

Once at the hut, which used to belong to the game keeper Hagrid, did Vikki pull down on her jacket a bit trying to look nicer. Even though she knew she looked fine it was just a habit. Victoire knocked once on the door and took a step back in order for Teddy to open it. Yet after a moment no answer. So she reached out and knocked again. Again no answer. So Victoire looked to the forest, which was at her left. "Teddy?" she called out not too loudly. He could be in the forest with one of the animals and she didn't want him to get harmed if an animal was scared by her voice. Or he could have just been sleeping.

Teddy had indeed been in the woods and he was messing around with his ewest creature. He hadn't told anyone about the the animals he'd found. He was woried thatif he told anyone he found ofthe of the last of the unicorns that the Umbridge woman would have it killed. Teddy was in Muggle clothes and he had a scarf around him and a hat covering his ears. The unicorn had gotten a bit rough with him and Tedy, despite his trying to dodge it, got a unicorn horn through the upper part of his shoulder. He'd fully intended on caring for it himself as soon as he got to the hut. Once he approached the hut he saw Victorie standing outside his door and call out his name.

Teddy felt a bit of wory come over him as he walked towards her. Teddy continued tohold his hand on his opposite shoulders wound as he spoke, "vic, what are you doing out here? You should know where my key is by now." Tedy worried about her being out here a lone often. He then leaned over and kissed her lips as he pulled away he spoke, "I don't like you being out here alone, Victorie. You never know what might happen." Teddy wondered for a moment if Vic saw his arm, and he really hoped that she hadn't. He knew he'd not only have to give away his secret, but he also would get scorned for getting hurt. He was always managing to get hurt and either fixing it himself, angering Vic, or coming to her and hearing about it all.

Just the sight of seeing Teddy walk out of the woods and toward her put a smile on her face. Victoire would rather spend the whole day with him rather thank those sick students. But those students needed someone to take care of them but so did Teddy. Plus she also needed him in her life. Without him who knows what she might do. But right away Teddy went into protecting her. Being out here alone. Who was he kidding? No one would dare hurt her knowing who they would have to face. "Of course I do. I just didn't want to wake you if you were sleeping." Lies. She would have waited another minute or two outside then she would have went into the hut. And if he was sleeping. Vikki would have let him sleep.

Of course like any girlfriend she kissed back when he kissed her. But it was short and then again he was talking. A teasing smile came on her lips when she spoke, "I do believe you are the one hurt not me." Yes of course she saw him holding his shoulder. Victoire had to be observant about these things. She was the school nurse! Everyone lied so she checked all her patient's physical appearance. "Now before I decide to question you. We are cleaning up your arm." Vikki said with a tone to her voice showing Teddy that yes she was angry he got hurt. She knew so much worse could have happened but if whatever did this aimed a little higher and to the right would have been in his neck.

Victoire opened up the hut with the key and stepped inside hoping and knowing Teddy would follow. It was his house but Vikki also used it quite frequently. She loved it so much. Since the half giant, hagrid used to live here everything was so much bigger. Vikki went over to the sink and grabbed a semi-clean towel and put it under warm almost too hot of water. Then, she turned off the water and turned around the towel in her hands. The hot water would kill mostly any germs and bacteria that was in his wound. Going over to where Teddy was she asked him, "Can you move your hand so I don't have a boyfriend with one arm?" Sure again she was teasing. She loved Teddy too much to stay angry at him long.

If I was sleeping? Teddy had to laugh at that fact, as he knew that more ofen then not Victorie would come in while he was sleeping and just sit there looking at him till he woke again. The idea of her doing so made a huge smile come to his face despite his own pain. He then laughed a bit as he spoke, "You are lying, Victorie Weasley, but I will let you slide with that for now." He shook his head as he looked at her. Her hair was down and about her, and she looked as stunning as she always did. He wasn't sure how he managed to keep himself under control when he was around her. She drove him mad, and he thought she knew it. He was crazy in love with her.

She said something about him being hurt and he laughed a bit as he spoke, "It doesn't matter if I am hurt, Vic. Something, anything could have come and taken you and I would have been none the wiser. Please, love, don't knock. Just start barging in." He heard her blabber about questioning him and he chuckled a bit as he spoke, "It is a good story that I am sure you will like. Plus, it has to stay a secret between only us, Vic."

She opened the door and Teddy felt his mouth drop a bit at how incredibally sexy his girlfriend was. One day he would change that, as he'd been saving for years to change that. He wanted to give her the wedding of her dreams, and he would expect to give her no less. He savd as much as possible so that he could pay for as much of it himself as possible. Teddy followed her in and then took a seat as he looked up to her. He smiled as she began fussing over him. He dropped his hand and then he stripped off his jacket and then his shirt. He threw his shirt in the dirty clothes and cussed when he saw the hole in his jacket.

He sighed as he plopped into a chair, that was normal sized, and then let Vic tend to him. He groaned as he spoke, "Think I can convince my sexy blinde girlfriend to mend another hole in my jacket?" He grinned up to her with a childish grin. Her hands were freezing against her cold skin and Teddy shuttered as he spoke, "I'm buying you gloves that magically appear on your hands wheneve they are cold, Victorie Weasley. I swear one of those days they will be the death of me." Of course Teddy was just teasing her back. He leaned over and pressed his lips to her cold hand. He then let it go so she could do her work.

He laughed a bt, trying to not think of any pain that she would cause, as he spoke, "So, I have realized that with having as many injuries as I get with these animals that it is jsut another reason that having you as mine is so wonderful. What more could I ask for then someone to heal all my pains?" Teddy looked to her and smiled a bit. He needed the perfect time and though that ring sat in his drawer....now was not it.

A very childish grin came over her lips when Teddy caught her lying. It was a smile that Victoire had practiced on for years and always got her younger male cousins in trouble with it. When it was always her fault in the first place. But why would this sweet little child do anything wrong. "So what if I lied? What are you going to do about it." Now the grin was more of a smirk. What exactly would he do about it when he had one lame arm at the moment when in a few moments it would be healed.

When Teddy said that she should just start barging in the Weasley had to laugh. She most likely would now and if he wasn't home. She would most likely start making his hut look more like a home than the boy's dormitories up at the castle. "I can take care of myself quite well Mr. Lupin. And veelas have quite a temper you know." At that she winked at him playfully. Yes she has heard from her mother about a veela's temper. And boy did Vikki inherit that trait. But of course she never let it come out. But she was sure that maybe once this year some poor student would push her over the edge. Then when Teddy said it was a secret that they had to keep she got excited to know the story. "I'll be quiet. You'll just need to show me what animal did this to you."

Victoire felt like she was the luckiest woman alive. She had a boyfriend who cared for her deeply, wouldn't dream of hurting her, or going with another women and he was drop dead gorgeous. Of all the unlucky things that have happened to the Weasley family, Victoire felt like she was the luckiest. When Ted did take his shirt off of course Vic looked at him. She sometimes couldn't take her eyes off of him. But when she did finally manage to look at his arm she noticed a bandage wouldn't fix that. She would have to preform some magic.

The hole in his jacket would have to be fixed. Victoire was already looking at it before he spoke. "I think I may be able to. You know its just hole number 143." she said laughing. The number just popped into her head. But sometimes it would seem her boyfriend has had that many holes in his jacket. Then when Teddy commented about her cold hands and after he kissed her one she put one hand to the side of his face. "They aren't that cold." and she knew she would get the gloves but Teddy wouldn't disagree with her now.

Victoire put the warm cloth on Teddy's wound and knew it probably was going to sting him. But oh well he was a big boy and would be fine with it. After she just let it sit there for a moment she actually started to clean the wound and she knew that this would hurt more than when the warm cloth was just on his wound. "Sorry." Vic said quietly hoping it wouldn't hurt him too bad. When she took off the warm cloth the wound definitely looked better. Much cleaner and ti would be easier to work with.

"Now this is going to hurt," Victoire started throwing the cloth where the rest of the dirty clothes were and then she took out her wand. "For a good few seconds." she said finally finishing. Vic looked at him not really wanting to cause him the pain that was going to come. She then took a deep breath and said the spell. The spell was going to mend the wound from the inside out. First connecting all the muscles that whatever went threw his arm ripped then finally mending the skin. Victoire took her free hand and held Teddy's other hand knowing that this would be painful.

Teddy laughed at his girlfriend's snipycomment to him. He shook his head knowing that there wasn't anything he would do about it. If he got daring enough, then he might pin her to the bed and tickle her till she beged himfor mercy later. He smiled with a gentle smirk as he thought of the idea to treat her that way. Heheardher about the temper and he sighed a bit as he looked to her eyes. He then lifted his goodhand to hold her cheek in his hand and whispered, "Vic, temper or not; I'm going to worry about you."

Teddy grinned as he looked to her and spoke, "It was a unicorn, Vic. She is one of the most beautiful creatures I have ever seen. She must be one of the last of her kind. I can ot believe she is here in the forbidden forest. Imagine the whitest pearl that you have ever seen with the most opalescent and shiny tone. Vic, she is as close to as beautiful to you that I ever could imagine." He smiled up to her as she began to talk about his coat. Her laugh and smile just made his smile break across his face. Vic couldn't even imagine what she looked like to him and in his eyes.

Teddy grinned as he looked to her and spoke, "I know you cna mend anything that I've done to that jacket. You are a miracle worker, Victorie Weasley." Vic continued on and she told him that it would hurt. He bit the inside of his lip and nodded. Then the pain got a bit worse and he cried out in a half growl as she tightened and cleaned his wound. His fngers griped the tighest amount possible onto the chair as he looked to her. His teth ground til the moment that she was done. Once she was and her spell was done he gave her a half smile.

Teddy then grabbed Victorie and sat him on his lap. His arms wrapped around her as he ehld her close to him and whispered, "I'm sorry that I make you put me thourhg so much pain. In the end it is better for me." He smiled as he kissed her lips gently.

Victoire knew that it was good that she has such a protective boyfriend. And she got why he did it all the time. He lost his mother and father and never got to talk to either of them. And then he lost his godfather. The closest person to him that he could almost call father. Yet she just always teased him about protecting her. Vic knew that if anyone ever decided to point a wand in her direction Teddy would be by her in about a half second trying to kill whoever drew a wand on her. "I know you will." Vikki said smiling at him. Yes she had her knight in shining armor set for life.

A unicorn! Victoire couldn't help but stare at Teddy as he spoke about the beautiful creature. And it was here! In the Forbidden Forest! She also knew she was no where as beautiful as the creature but Teddy would disagree with her each time. So there was no use telling him. "Teddy can you please take me and see her one day? I would really really love to see her." she knew that she was going to be pushing her luck. Look at what the unicorn did to her Teddy! But she wanted to see this beautiful creature before she would just be reading about it in story books.

It pained Vic so much to see Ted in so much pain. She knew it was going to hurt him but hated it so much more that she was the one causing the pain. She wanted to stop the curse but knew Teddy's wound would have not healed on its own. What made her feel even worse was how he cried out. If this was any other situation she would stop the pain. Yet this would do him better in the long run.

Well at least Teddy agreed with her. He knew that it did pain her to cause him pain. But when he pulled her down onto his lap, Vic smiled when he kissed her. How much she missed being with him! Definitely Victoire would be visiting him more. Hopefully each time she wasn't fixing a wound. However enough about that. Vic kissed him back showing him how much she loved him.

Teddy smiled as she got comfortable on his lap. His arms held her to him as he just kissed and adored his girlfriend. Nothing more made him happier in the world then having everything he needed within his reach. He had wanted to wait to do this, but he knew that he couldn't keep a secret from Vic that long. That was the thought that ept running through Teddy's mind as he kissed his girlfriend. He pulled away from one kiss to look into her eyes. Those eyes of hers that just showed him how much she loved him. He smiled as he kissed her forehead and picked her up into his arms. Teddy sat her back down in the chair and then held up a finger as he spoke, "Stay there, Vic."

Teddy then walked over to the half giant's dresser. He looked up to the top drawer and then took a deep breath. He used his wand to levitate himself up to the drawer. His hands began to dig through the drawer in search of something. A few of Teddy's shirts got thrown onto the floor as he looked for it. He then stopped to make sure Vic wasn't getting up. Then it was in his hands. Teddy held his hand shut tight and then made himself levitate to the ground. After that he began to walk over his stuff and to Vic. He took a deep breath as he was right before her. His lips met with hers and he kissed her deeply, and as he pulled away he spoke, "This wasn't the way I originally wanted to do this, but no time is more perfect for me."

Teddy hit his left knee to the ground and he held up the ring, but he pulled it back a bit. He then began to speak, "As I said, this was not the original plan. I had the romantic deal set all up for next month, but I can't wait that long. I can't lie to you that much longer about it all, Vic. You worry about me even when I do not think that I ned worying over. You heal my wounds, and jackets." He tooka dep breath and let out a small laugh. With his other hand he moved it through his ahir and took a depe breath as he looked into her face.

A small laugh came out as he continued again, "I have known that you were the love of my life since school, and I have saved to try and make this moment and wedding perfect for you and only you. I put money away to save for this knowing I wanted you to have your princess moment. You are my other half that makes me whole, Vic. Without you I am just a shell of a man wandering this earth with no where to go. I can not promise you that I wil not get hurt, and I can not promise you that I will be perfect. What I can promise you is that I will do my best to be able to grow old with you, and that we will be able to watch our children grown. I can promise that I will protect you with every last breath and once of the being that I am. I can promise you that no other man will love you the way I do."

Teddy felt his hand holding the ring shaking as he continued to look up to her. He then took one of her hands and held it in his other, empty, hand. His hand stil shook in hers as he raised it to his lips and kissed it. He stil held onto it as he finished, "What I am trying to ask. Victorie Dianne Weasley, will you do me the greastes honor in agreeing to be my wife?" Teddy's own eyes were nearly brimming with tears as he held the ring out to her in a shaking hand. He gulped visibly as he waited for his girlfriend's answer.

It confused Victoire when Teddy picked her up and sat her down on the chair. She was about to protest because she was being selfish and wanted to kiss him again. But when he held up a finger and told her to stay there, Vic did listen. She wanted to know what was going on and it would seem the only way she could was to listen and to watch. Victoire got even more confused when Teddy had to levitate himself to get something from the top drawer. She knew he didn't use it much seeing he wasn't half giant. But something was up there.

When he came back Vikki noticed that something was held tightly in his hand. Teddy kissed her and she kissed back but when she spoke she felt her mind and heart racing. Was this really happening to her? Now? Right here? And then he went down onto his one knee. Vic felt a huge smile come across her face and could already feel the tears that were going to fall. This was happening! When he said he may not be perfect she could have laughed. But knew this was all too serious. He was perfect. He was everything in her eyes.

And that was the very first moment she noticed the ring that he held out for her. And it was the most gorgeous ring she has ever seen. Sure Victoire has seen some nice jewelry in her time but this was ten times better than everything else. This ring was from Teddy asking her to marry him. Victoire felt the tears finally brim over her eyes when Teddy finally popped the questions. She wiped them away quickly with the back of her hand managing to smudge no eye make up. She nodded her head quickly before she answered, "Yes. Yes. Of course Teddy." she answered smiling down at him. She held out her hand that he wasn't holding so he could place the ring on her finger. Vic didn't want to seem in that much of hurry for him to be hers.

She was crying. That was a god thing, right? Victorie loved him and she wouldn't say no. At least that was what Teddy was hoping as he looked up to his girlfriend. His hands still shook as he awaited her answer. Then she said yes and told him of course. He felt his inhibitions slip away as he looked into her eyes that had slight tears in them still. Vic's hand moved and Teddy let out a gentle laugh as he slipped the ring on her finger.

Teddy looked ot the ring on her hand and noticed how beautiful and perfect it looked sitting there. He then moved to bring her intohis arms. He lifted her off the chair and then spun her around. He then stopped and captured his lips with hers. He smiled brightly as he spoke, "You have made me the happiest man in this world, Vic." He oved him fingers through her hair and then smiled brightly. That look on her face and that love she had for him would forever be burned into his memory. his ahnds had stopped shaking, and his mind was only on Victorie.

Teddy set her on the ground once again. He then moved his hands to cup her face as he kissed her deeply. He then pulled away and wrapped his arms back around her slim waist. He grinned, as he began to speak again, "When do we tell the family? When do we get married? When do I get to move you in with me and out of that dang blasted castle? I hate having you so far from me, Vic. I would even give up this place and move into the castle if you wanted. I just need you." Teddy was worried about this whole thing cause he heard rumoursof a blood law. That the new Minister might only let purebloods and purebloods marry. That would ruin this chance with Vic, so he felt that they needed to be married before that ruling came out.

When Teddy picked her up and spun her around Vic felt like a little girl. A very happy little girl. She couldn't believe that this was happening! She was going to get married to the love of her life! "You have no idea how happy I am right now." Victoire told him after he said how happy he was. Actually he probably had a good idea. It was probably how happy he was. They were getting married! Vikki's friends didn't think they would last. Eight years without marriage they thought it was impossible. How wrong they were. Vic knew Teddy was the right guy for her. Ever since she was in school. She knew she had found her guy.

How soon? Victoire would say tomorrow but knew her family had to know. First Weasley child to get married. It was going to be a big deal. Especially to a Lupin. Victoire remembered that her cousin Lilly had said how great it would be if they ever got married. That was when Vic and Teddy just started to go out. Course back then Vic thought that was a great idea but always thought it was a first love thing. Didn't know it would be her final love.

Victoire had to keep on smiling as Teddy asked more questions. She even laughed a little bit knowing she would be like this once this sunk in completely. "I can start telling my cousins who are in school. James works up at the castle so we can both tell him. He was the one who told my family we were dating. I or we can leave the castle a weekend to tell everyone." she said knowing it would be we. Her family would have guessed it already by the time they saw Teddy and her holding hands with huge smiles on their faces. "Anytime you want to get married fine with me. But I know you have heard about the rumor about the blood law. The sooner the better. Christmas break maybe?" Vic asked thinking that was the closest she might be able to get some time off. By spring it might be too late. But if the law was passed or not she was going to marry Teddy. Lucius Malfoy was not stopping her.

Where to move? Victoire would love to move down here with him but knew she had to be at the castle most of the time. Day or night in case of sick patients. Yet she knew how much Teddy disliked the castle since well no good have come from it over the years. "Either way is fine. I just will have to stay up with the students if anyone of them gets sick." Vic explained. And that may work. Stay down here most of the time and when someone gets sick just go back up to the castle until the patient is fine.
