Some students at Hogwarts castle would think all that the professors ever did was stay inside there all the time. Victoire knew for a fact that she always thought teachers had no lives at all. That was until some friends of the family started to work at Hogwarts. Before it was always so awkward to see professors out and about like they were regular every day people. Which they were but it was still awkward. Now Vikki wasn't a teacher. No she was the Hogwarts School Nurse. Which may be even more embarrassing for some people since Victoire will probably at least fix everyone up at Hogwarts at least once. And even though it was her first year some students looked at her differently as she walked the streets of Hogsmeade.
The young, blond Weasley honestly didn't get why she was getting looked at like this. She wasn't old. Far from it! She was twenty five! Maybe some of the older students thought it was time she got married and had a family. And you know what. That was exactly what she was thinking. Why couldn't her boyfriend for the past almost ten years ask her that one simple question? Did he think she would answer no? No. Never in a million years. Most of the girls Vikki graduated with she knew that they were engaged and has already been to a few of there weddings! And well the younger students probably wondered why she wasn't in the Hospital Wing. Like she would want to be in there when no one was there? It was boring there and probably someone would get hurt out here so she could help out.
While Victoire walked the streets it felt all too familiar to her. The last time she was actually here was about eight years ago for her final year at Hogwarts. That felt like ages ago yet now memories flooded her mind. Yet she was going to go straight past a shop when she suddenly smelled something very sweet. She looked to her right and saw that Honeyduke's was packed as usual. But that was the fun part of it. Trying to get all your sweets while walking threw a ton of people. So that is exactly what Vikki decided to do. Sure some of the students did tower of her since she was only about 5 foot 4 inches but she was alright with that.
Getting into the shop proved to be easy but getting to the Every Flavored Jelly Beans proved to be a hassle. Even the students didn't care if she was higher authority they still all stepped on her feet and pushed her against other students. Victoire tried to remember faces if they ever did need some help but that proved to be impossible. Finally she got to one side of the store where she able to have a little bit of breathing room.

It had been a while since Scorpius had felt like home. He had been out of Hogwarts for nearly three months now and he still hadn’t gotten a job. The castle had been more of a home to him then his own home had ever been. It wasn’t that he didn’t love his parents, but the constant looks of disapproval from his father had begun to get on his nerves. Scorpius was quite happy that his dad had taken a job at the school as it meant he wouldn’t have to deal with him as much at home.
Scorpius was glad in a way that he wasn’t in school any more as it would have been nearly intolerable. It had taken him a while to get the students to stop looking at him as a Malfoy. With his dad now teaching at the school, and his grandfather the Minister of magic it would’ve been like starting over.
Scorpius had decided to take a trip to Hogsmeade today. He had been sitting alone at home, with nobody but the house elves for company. All of his friends had gotten jobs over the summer, so he couldn’t even spend time with any of them. So Scorpius had put on his warmest leather jacket, and apparated into town. He was a bit surprised at how busy it was, but noticed some of his former classmates. It must’ve been a Hogsmeade weekend, he thought to himself.
Scorpius’ favorite shop in town had always been Honeydukes sweet shop. He had inherited his sweet tooth from his mother, and had visited it almost every time. He had to push his way threw the crowded streets, but finally made his way into the warm shop. It was nearly as crowded inside as it was out, but the weather was fairer. Scorpius’ favorite sweet had always been Bertie Bott’s every flavor beans, so he made his way over there first.
Scorpius pushed threw the crowd until he was by the proper shelf. Once he retrieved his candy, he pushed back in order to take a breath. He found himself beside a rather attractive woman. Scorpius recognized her immediately, but couldn’t quite recall her name. His cheeks reddened slightly in embarrassment, but he quickly shook the feeling. The woman was clearly older then Scorpius, perhaps even a teacher. He smiled at the older woman as. “Tough crowd eh.” he said, gesturing at the students.

When was the last time Victoire had these jelly beans? Years? Half a decade? Maybe even longer. Unless her cousins have tricked her over the years. Yet it was always Vikki tricking them first since she was at Hogsmeade long before they were. However Teddy Lupin got Victoire to try her first Every Flavor Jelly bean, which just happened to be grass. He had promised her that it was watermelon flavor. Yet as soon as the five year old Victoire put it in her mouth she had to spit it out. Then yell at her best friend for tricking her like that. How she missed being with him all the time!
The voice Vikki heard sounded familiar but she couldn't place it. When she looked up somehow a name came to her head. She didn't know how his name got in there but the last name Malfoy was the first thing that popped in her mind. She was pretty sure it was Draco Malfoy's son, her fellow co-worker. And of course she knew everything about him. The Malfoy who got into Gryffindor. How pissed Draco was about that and how all her cousins were shocked. So this Malfoy may not have anything against her family but his father sure did. Which was why Victoire couldn't wait for him to get injured and come ask her for help. "Yeah. First Hogsmeade trip for the students." she explained to him.
If Victoire had heard correctly Draco's son was only about 18. She still couldn't believe how he got into Gryffindor with his heritage. Even with her Weasley heritage she still got into Ravenclaw more likely thanks to her mother. But still! But Victoire was never one to remain shy and not talk with someone who she somewhat knew. Even if the young Malfoy didn't know her. "You probably don't remember or have even heard of me. I'm Victoire Weasley. I work at Hogwarts with your father." the blond said introducing herself. The young Malfoy had probably heard of her. Probably when his father went on ranting at home how could the school hire a Weasley? And a Weasley who was part veela so he couldn't even deny she was a attractive like he did with her aunt Hermione and her late aunt Ginny. But of course Victoire wasn't interested in older men especially someone like him. She was only interested in a young man who was two years older than herself.

Scorpius wasn’t surprised that it was the first Hogsmeade trip. He remembered that the first was typically the most crowded of the year. He looked around, trying to pick out familiar faces in the crowd. He knew a lot of them, but his friends were all pretty much gone.
Something clicked in Scorpius’ head when he heard the woman’s name. He had remembered his dad complaining about the new nurse. His dad had tried to get him to hate the Weasley’s, but Scorpius never did. He had even made friends with a few of them while at school.
“I actually have heard of you, Miss Weasley.” He said. Even though she was only a few years older then himself, he still wanted to be polite. “I’m Scorpius Malfoy.” He said extending his hand towards her. “It’s nice to meet you.” He said.
Scorpius was curious as to what reaction Victoire would give to his name. He was used to it by now, especially by Weasley’s. It had taken him quite a bit of time to get the Potter’s and Weasley’s at Hogwarts to open up to him. He had never judged a book by his cover, and expected the same from those he met.

That was his name! Victoire has already heard it around the castle once of twice since Draco boosted about a lot of things. But about his son well for one he was in Gryffindor and two he didn't follow his father's footsteps. Both were fine on Victoire's list. Her younger cousins had a hard time adjusting to a Malfoy in Gryffindor but soon enough they accepted him. Even though Victoire would be nice to Draco's son she was still not happy with the rest of his family.
Victoire laughed quietly, "Please call me Victoire, Scorpius. You make me fell much older than I should!" she said laughing a bit. Even while she was working at the castle she wasn't going by Ms. Weasley. It was Victoire to everyone. She was too young to be called so formally. Now if her last name got changed to Mrs. Lupin she just might make the students call her that.
"It's nice to meet you too." Victoire said smiling. "It's good to finally meet the Malfoy my cousins and family don't talk bad about." Yes she was being quite blunt not hiding her or hers family dislike for the Malfoy name. But also that Scorpius wasn't considered a Malfoy in much of her family's eyes. He was better than his father. And his grandfather.

Scorpius smiled at Victoire. “Alright.” He said. “I wasn’t trying to make you feel old, I actually thought you may have been a student when I first saw you.” He said with a wink. He was flirting a little, only because it was in his nature.
Scorpius shook his head unsurprised by her comment. “Yeah believe me I know.” he said. “I mean I kind of have to love my family, but that doesn’t mean I’m like them or that I respect them.” he said. He wasn't surprised about her opinion on Malfoy's, knowing that she worked with his father.

So this little encounter would surely be told to her mother later. And just to her mother since her mother would only get it. Also her mother did not have the hardcore dislike for the Malfoy family since she married into the Weasleys. But only her mother could get the humor on the way males acted around the veela charm. Sure it could always just be in Scorpius' nature to flirt like that but saying she looked younger than him! No, she did definitely look older than him. If she told him her real age, which was twenty five, Vikki could guess he would have never thought of it! Seeing that if she kept with this conversation Scorpius might try and flirt with her more she switched over to another subject. "You like the Every Flavored Jelly Beans also?" she asked pointing to the candy he picked up.
Well at least he didn't have that much of a temper. Was Victoire's initial thought. Because she knew his father did. Those poor students who he taught. She would let any student who wanted to skip his class and come hang out in the hospital wing. But of course she has been already yelled at by Umbridge and Malfoy for doing that. "Yes you should love your family. And respect the older members of your family. Even though I get no respect with all my little cousins running around." Vikki said smiling. She respected all her aunt, uncles and her parents. Victoire really didn't expect respect from her cousins seeing most of them were out of school already. And maybe once and if she got married they were see her more of an adult than one of them.

Being male, Scorpius’ attention easily was averted when Victoire brought up the topic of food. He nodded his head, and smiled at her. “Oh yes.” he said. “I’ve been lucky, in that I’ve hardly had any of the bad ones.” he said. “I have quite a knack for picking the good tasting ones and avoiding the bogey and ear wax variety.” He added. Scorpius did however remember the one time he had chosen wrong. He had been hanging out in the Gryffindor common room one afternoon with his mates. They were eating the beans, and he ended up with a vomit flavored one. He shivered at the memory as it still crept up every now and then.
Scorpius though a bit envious of the Weasley’s, had to admit to himself that that could become annoying. “Yeah I can imagine that being difficult.” he admitted. “I bet they’re always asking for you to get them out of class and whatnot.” he said with a smirk. He knew he would’ve tried that on his dad a few times, not that his dad would’ve allowed it.

What luck Scorpius had! Victoire was always the end of her cousins or her boyfriend's tricks! In her whole life so far she has probably tasted all the bad ones! Everything from grass, which was the first one she ever tasted, all the way to vomit and earwax. Vomit she hated! And each time she tried to pick it out of the box but always missed one! The one that didn't bother her that much anymore was grass. Since Teddy tricked her with it when she was young. So it was kind of a little thing that he would always give her a grass flavored one over the years. "I tend to get all the ill tasting ones. My cousins have tricked me and my boyfriend tends to trick me a lot also." Victoire said smiling. Sure she could have just said Teddy but she was putting that in there a bit to show Scorpius that there was a guy very, very protective of her.
Her cousins were not that much of a problem. Sure in school when they wanted out of a class she let them out. It was better than getting caught by a teacher in a class a lot. Her aunt Hermione was the charms teacher and when she wasn't teaching, Victoire knew that she let her family sometimes ditch class in there. Like when Victoire wanted to skip Malfoy's class. She had already learned everything about how to protect herself from Harry. Draco gave Teddy and her an especially hard time being the first Potter/ Weasley students to enter Hogwarts. "Ah, well it's healthy to ditch once in a while. I know your father doesn't agree. But hey if my cousins want to ditch class they are ditching it with or without me. They can always just stay in their common rooms." she said with a slight shrug but also a smile. Course her cousins loved talking to her and she loved talking with them.

Scorpius felt a little deflated as she mentioned a boyfriend. He attributed it to the fact that she was beautiful. “Ah well that’s to be expected from your cousins, but that’s not very nice of your boyfriend.” He said. “I would never do that to my girlfriend, well I wouldn’t if I had one.” he said with a smile. He had dated a few girls during his years at Hogwarts, but nobody for very long.
Scorpius smirked, “Well I would be lying if I said I hadn’t ditched once or twice.” He admitted. “So I’d have to agree that it’s healthy.” He said. He chuckled, “I suppose that’s true.” he said. He was sure that they’d ditch either way, if they really wanted to ditch.

Even though Victoire really didn't mean it to hurt Scorpius he looked a bit not exactly saddened but let down that Victoire did have a boyfriend. And she has told the same thing to guys for the past eight years. That she was taken. And some guys would ask her repeatedly when she saw them again. They just couldn't understand how she was still dating and not married. Even though she didn't tell the men this. Vikki also didn;t understand how she wasn't married to Teddy yet.
The laugh that came out of Victoire was a soft one when Scorpius said he wouldn't do that. "I bet you did when you liked a girl when you were younger. See thats what Teddy, my boyfriend did to me. We have known each other since we were little. And one day he told me try a jelly bean. Said it was watermellon flavored. So I tried it trusting him. And it turned out to be grass. I chased him around the house yelling at him for tricking. Couse it got me nowhere. Seeing I was five and he was seven." Vic said smiling widely. Five year old girl in a dress chasing around a seven year old boy. Victoire's mum had a fit since Vikki was suppose to change clothing whenever she did something that involved running or some activity like that.
Ah, how many times did Victoire ditch class? A lot actually for being a Ravenclaw. most likely since she was a Weasley in Ravenclaw. "You graduated last year, right?" Victoire asked Scorpius. She believed he did but wasn't quite sure.
