------------------------------------------------- Why would you put me through such torture I would have given my life for her
James Potter, eldest child of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley walked throught Diagon Alley, with no place in miond to go. He often asked himself why he would walk aimlessly around these places, why he would look for someting that wasn't even there anymore. Why. There was no realy explination for his thoughtless actions, he just did them. James was a brave man, that's what people tell him. Everyday, they tell him that he's exceptional and like his father in so many ways. James never really thought so. He thought he was alright, average even. In all honesty, he admired his little brother a lot. It was weird to say, but even though Albus was going through a tough time, he was that. He was tough. James seems tought and sometimes he is, but at others, he just crumbles.
It's always been hard for James, Albus and Lily. Loosing their parents at young ages, but the memories were still fresh inside their minds. James didn't know what effect this was having on his little sister. She was always quiet and would hardly speak of them. It was good in a way because he wouldn't have to relive the memories that were blocked out of his mind for so long. The young man of twenty sighed and ruffled his dark hair with his right hand. Maybe that was the point of his aimless walking. To forget the events that happened. Maybe that's why he became an auror. to be like his father, to fulfill something that he wasn't ready to fulfill. Maybe it was just too much for him to handle.
Taking this into account, he looked through a few stores, but never bought anything. there was nothing there that really caught his interest. But maybe a few things that Albus might need, or maybe even Lily, who was heading into her sixth year of school. He never spent a dime however. Looking around, he heard lourd bursts of laughter as children sped by, racing into Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes. Now, that was a shop to look at. But there was no time. He was busy thinking. He was busy trying to think about his life and the path that it was going. He was thinking about his family. And thinking sure can suck you into your own little world.

Teddy had delt with the kind of pain that no person should have to bear, and with this pain he did realize that his "family" had to deal with it also now. He could only imagine what it would be like tohave those precious memories with your family, for he had none. Teddy knew that his freinds were still having a rough time with the loss of their parents. That was why Teddy saw no problem, nor had no surprise, when he saw James walking like a ghost through the shops and the streets of Diagon Alley. Teddy watched the dep thought that James seemed to be in and he longed for everything to be taken back. James was his quidditch mate. James was the boy he grew up seeing laugh and causing al kinds of trouble. No, he should not have to feel this pain.
It was several moments before Teddy went over to James. It was in Teddy's nature to protect those he lvoed, so he tried to cheer the man up. He swung an arm around James, who shouldhave sensed him being an Auror, and spoke, "Hey, James." Teddy let his hand slip to the side as he walked with him and then gae the guy beside him a smile. Teddy was debating if his story, well surprise, would cheer the man up. He guessed not, as it was a bit of an achieement for him. It didn't mean that everyone else would be excited.....or keep their mouths shut.
